Verse.io is dedicated to closing the lead conversion gap with our next-generation contact center. We are 100% focused on engaging, qualifying, and converting inbound leads for enterprise and mid-sized marketing and sales teams. Our mission is to help these people and their organizations drive significantly more revenue from their lead generation and sales investments, while giving their prospects a more cohesive and personalized experience.
Verse.io was co-founded in 2015 by David Tal and Avi Tal: brothers, former real estate executives, and marketing pros who had personally experienced the difficulties of connecting with and converting leads first-hand while managing and scaling marketing and sales teams.
The Tals first investigated call centers as a possible solution, but felt that they tended to be large, expensive operations that weren’t well suited to multi-channel lead engagement, qualification, or nurturing. Thereafter, David and Avi looked at software solutions, but none provided the human touch or the multi-channel, text-first capabilities critical for actually connecting and starting a conversation with prospects.
Out of all of this struggle and learning, Verse was born: the company they wished had existed to help them in the first place. Today, Verse serves customers operating large scale marketing and sales organizations in all manner of industries, from Mortgage and Finance to Home Improvement and Clean Energy.
Closing the lead conversion gap is the next frontier in marketing and sales process optimization, and Verse is leading the charge.
Our executive team
Led by founders David and Avi Tal, Verse’s senior team consists of executives with deep experience in digital marketing, sales operations, contact center operations and AI/machine learning.
Founder and Co-CEO
David co-founded Verse in 2013. He oversees the company’s business operations, including sales, marketing, customer support, and finance, among other areas of the business. Prior to Verse, David spent a decade as a real estate broker and co-founded one of the largest real estate referral platforms in the country. David holds a degree in Economics from UCLA.
Founder and Co-CEO
Avi co-founded Verse in 2013. He oversees the the company’s business operations with a focus on technology, product development, and long term growth and strategy. A serial entrepreneur, Avi spent a decade building internet businesses, including one of the largest WiFi media networks in Latin America. Avi lives on the beach in sunny San Diego, and you can catch him rollerblading on the boardwalk.
Chief Marketing Officer
As CMO, Steve leads the marketing and customer success teams at Verse. He brings over 15 years of B2B experience to the company, most recently as VP of Marketing at ThriveHive in Boston following three years in Austin with Main Street Hub prior to their acquisition by GoDaddy
VP of Sales
Hillary Anne oversees the sales operations at Verse. Prior to joining Verse, she was the VP of Sales for TapHunter, a craft beer SaaS venture in San Diego. Before TapHunter, Hillary was the Director of Inside Sales for Homes.com, overseeing the creation, training, development and expansion of the Inside Sales program from San Diego, CA to Norfolk, VA from 2010 to 2016.
VP, Contact Center Operations
As VP, Contact Center Operations, Daniel brings over 30 years of experience to the verse team. He brings a unique balance of Contact Center omni-channel best practices, technology, and customer experience efforts having worked for GEICO, Citigroup, The Hartford, College Loan Corporation and Zovio in various Contact Center management positions across multiple industries.
VP of Finance
Victor brings over 15 years of financial experience to the Verse team. He started his career at Morgan Stanley as part of Institutional Investor ranked sell-side research team and then spent 8 years at Sempra Energy in various roles, including in mergers and acquisitions and investor relations. Prior to joining Verse, Victor was the VP of Financial Relations for Renovate America.
