The Evolution of Verse : A Real Estate Podcast

…[We] continue to evolve what we have. We never settle and have a culture of continuous innovation. We want to be so far ahead in first place that everyone else is competing for 2nd.

Earlier this week, David Tal – our CEO – took part in a bare-all podcast, providing an inside look to Verse and recounting his meteoric rise to being the Most Admired CEO of an explosively successful real estate tech company.

In a brand new segment titled “Stay Wealthy, San Diego”,  Taylor Schulte breaks bread with the brightest leaders, entrepreneurs and innovators that San Diego has to offer. During his special appearance, David:

  • shares the motivation behind our concierge service
  •  breaks down the secret to our innovative qualification process
  • details his experience in securing over $5 million from venture capitalists,
  • imparts crucial advice for young entrepreneurs,
  • and, most importantly, discusses how it all stands to benefit the Realtors® within Verse’s network!

Learn more about David’s backstory, and get a behind the scenes peek at how the formula for success was (and continues to be) developed!

2017 Fastest Growing Companies in San Diego!

This time last year, we were celebrating our accomplishments and jumping with unbounded joy over making the Top 150 Fastest Growing Private Companies list! We were ecstatic, and yet filled with disbelief that we made #17 on the list.

This time? Well…

We landed at #6!!!

Additionally, the wonderful people at the San Diego Business Journal further commemorated this accomplishment by featuring Verse in a video expose (see above). It delves into the incredible  572% revenue growth we’ve experienced over the course of 2 years, as well as the culture, innovation, and passion that made it all possible.

We’re immensely honored to be recognized by San Diego Business Journal, and to be in a class of other wildly successful companies. However, we’re just getting started. As we speak, we’re already innovating and refining the way we serve our agents, and are excited for what the future holds for Verse.

But first, we celebrate.

It’s Crunch Time!

“Real estate is one of those industries that has been rather slow on the uptake of technology…but Verse hopes to change all that”

This sentiment has always fueled our drive for success. In the internet age of web leads, the real estate industry has become both impersonal and inefficient. An increase in lead volume and generation is offset by a disconnect in agent/client relationship, as well as proper vetting of each lead. Through a seamless combination of human connection and cutting-edge technology, we hope to improve the lives/success of real estate agents.

So we’re excited for those efforts to be recognized in a great feature by none other than TechCrunch!

Authored by Jordan Crook, this piece delves into the finer aspects of Verse: our mission to engage, qualify, and convert all web leads, and the showing of support and faith we’ve received in the form of 4.5 million we closed during our funding round! Click here to find out more.

I guess you could say we’re crunching it!

.

..

(No? Well we thought it was hilarious).

Verse featured in Inman News!

We’re excited to announce that we’ve been featured in Inman! As a leading source of information for all things real estate, it’s an honor to be spotlighted for our efforts to change the industry for the better.

Most online leads are dead ends, so cutting through the noise to identify the keepers can be a real hassle. Enter Verse”- Teke Wiggin, Inman Staff Writer

The propelling force behind our growth and success is the desire to improve the lives of real estate agents. In a world of cold web leads, agents aren’t able to respond to their leads quickly and effectively to convert them into qualified hot prospects. Agents are 21X more likely to convert a cold lead into a client if they engage them within 5 min.  Verse makes sure they do just that, by giving every agent the power of having their own inside sales team.

Agents who use Verse are seeing a 300% increase in conversion rates!

Verse Concierges are trained to ask all of the right questions, and are trained to be the best ISAs in the business. But what happens to all of those great leads agent’s don’t want?  Sometimes because of low price points or location?  Agents are used to ignoring and throwing away leads they don’t want or can’t handle.  Well we have a saying here.  Don’t trash it.  Cash it.  So we give agents the opportunity to monetize unwanted leads, allowing them to refer them to one of the 30,000 agents within our referral network and make a 25% referral fee.

Following an exciting round of funding, we aim to become even more effective at boosting the success of our agents!   Check out the article below to find out more.
